Our institutional batting cage frame system uses 8.625" outside diameter structural steel pipes coated with the same finish used on the Alaska Pipeline. It has fewer components, and offers free and clear spans up to 75' in either direction - without significant sag.

Commercial style package deals are designed like the cages the pro's use. They incorporate heavier tubing, so they take the wind and elements better. The corners are square. We sell thousands of these per year for Schools and Colleges, Pro Teams, and higher end backyard applications. They work fantastic, look great and hold up for years!

The trapezoid shape allows us to use lighter tubing, but we still incorporate tubing that is dramatically heavier & stronger than our competitors. You lose a little space, and you lose a little headroom. but you also save some serious dough!
