The All New 2013 model 2Pitch3
The new 2Pitch3 can throw more types of pitches than the old 2P3.
Both the Fastball head and the Curveball head can be tilted 35-degrees left or right to simulate right handed or left handed pitching.
The old 2P3 could throw only a straight fastball and a right handed curveball.
The Fastball head now has two individual speed controllers. This allows you to set up the Fastball head to throw any type of pitch (similar to the BATA-2). Being able to alter the ratio of the two motor speeds allows you to throw many different types of fastballs (straight, sinking, tailing, etc.), as well as other pitches (slider, knuckleball).
The old 2P3 had both Fastball motors on one speed controller, and the spin ratio was pre-set.
WHAT DO I NEED?
For manual feeding, all you need is the machine itself, the Roll-Away Stand (optional), some BATA Dimpled Baseballs (optional), and a protective screen.
For Auto Feeding, we recommend adding the BATA Auto Feeder, Remote On/Off, and at least two dozen BATA Dimpled Baseballs.
Auto Feeding
There are some limitations when Auto Feeding the 2Pitch3 and 2Pitch4 machines. Some combinations of speed and distance will not work. If you are throwing slower from a certain distance than is realistic, the feed chutes will be out of alignment, and would not be able to accept the balls properly when auto feeding.
General rule of thumb, the minimum curveball speed (in mph) is about equal to the pitching distance (in feet).
For example, (when auto feeding) the minimum speed curveball from 45 feet pitching distance is about 45 mph. From 55 feet, the minimum curveball speed is about 55 mph. The fastball will normally be about 15-20% faster than the curveball.

Cage exceeds expectations. If I had one comment it would be to consider making the backstop a mesh material instead of solid. Wind becomes an issue at times and I don’t want to tie down to the cage system to create more strain back to the cage system. Also, rings on the bottom of backstop would be helpful to hang weight. Overall impressive!
Bought 12x14x70 cage with L-screen and golf net, and really like the end result. I prepared a crushed concrete pad and bought some recycled field turf. Glad I bought concrete free anchor kit. I used the sleeves normally embedded in concrete and turned them upside down and tightened the bolt on the ground anchors capturing the vertical poles to keep the poles from sliding down into the ground. The boys are very happy with it.
BCI is top notch and stands behind their products (second time ordering from them).
Incredible customer service: I had an issue with the net after four days of use. I let the guys at BCI know, and within minutes they had ordered a replacement net.
As far as the net is concerned: it's high quality and much better than I expected. I think the first one must have had some type of defect.
Satisfied customer. Great place to get batting cage gear.
Net was everything I hoped for. Shipping time was quicker than expected only 4-5 business days and my team was up and hitting. Bought a higher priced net last season for different cage and this one seems to be more durable. Will keep buying this brand. Thanks
Bought this for my 9 & 10 yr olds to be able to work on their hitting and pitching during the off season. Set it up in my barn and let them go! Well made product that I can tell will last for years.
I have worked in collegiate athletics for over 20 years, 10+ years as a DI softball coach. Shopped around to find a durable cage for a specific area in my backyard that would be easy to assemble (and drop down during the winter months). This is a great product at a very reasonable price. We bought it as a Christmas Gift for our 8 year old son, so we haven't assembled it yet. However, all items were shipped in a timely manner. We can't wait until the spring to start putting it to use!
Easy to assemble and quality material.. The shipper actually forgot to leave one of the boxes.. I contacted BCI and they tracked the package and it was delivered the next day.. Other than that, there were no issues..

Thank you for the excellent customer service Batting Cages Inc. (BCI)! Sales rep. Austin Neitch went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were happy and made certain we received our order that same week. I spoke to Austin on Monday and we received the net by noon Friday, even after changing our minds. The next day, Austin was kind enough to change the order and said we would receive a credit, as the net we decided to go with was a little cheaper and within an hour I received an email from Jayme Higgerson in the Accounting Dept. with a revised invoice and he made sure the credit was processed the next day. We ordered the #36 HDPE-(12'H x 14'W x 55'L), it arrived in great condition, wrapped in plastic. The netting is heavy duty, good quality and should last in our warehouse for several years to come. Thanks again Austin and Jayme for the impeccable service and superior product!

Went up easy after I got my cabling installed. Net seems pretty heavy duty even though it was the Mid Level. Being it is out of the weather I have no doubt this will last for a number of years. My kids and teams are loving it so far. Took me some time, but I got it all up by myself.
