Hitting Tips from Carlos: Batting Drill #1

This is Carlos' first hitting tip! Come back to this page each week for a hitting tip on how you can improve your swinging.

"Hey, guys. My name is Carlos Garcia, a former professional player for the Kansas City Royals and the San Francisco Giants. If you want to improve your bat path, how to get on the plane with the ball, and how to stay through the baseball as long as possible here is one drill that I do.
On this drill, I'm going to set up two tees one in front of the other. With a single swing, I'm going to try to hit both baseballs. The main goal for the drill is to stay through the baseball as long as possible. A good thing I like to emphasize and stay focused on is to keep my top hand as long as possible with my palm facing up and finishing slightly above my front shoulder." - Carlos Garcia
